Why Engineering and Drainage Matter

Taller walls need concrete footings for stability.Proper setback means walls lean slightly into the slope they're retaining, providing natural stability.

Drainage is critical. Water building up behind a wall creates tremendous pressure that will eventually cause failure. We install drainage systems including gravel backfill, perforated drain pipes, and weep holes to keep water moving away from the wall. Skipping drainage to save money is the number one reason retaining walls fail.
