Concrete Repair & Restoration
Fix cracked, sunken, or damaged concrete before small problems become big expenses.

Don't Replace It - Repair It
Concrete is durable, but it's not indestructible. Over time, weather, ground movement, and regular wear take their toll. Cracks appear, sections settle, surfaces spall and chip, and what was once a smooth driveway or level walkway becomes a problem. The good news? Many concrete issues can be repaired at a fraction of the cost of replacement.
We've been repairing and restoring concrete throughout West Lafayette since 2024, helping homeowners extend the life of their driveways, patios, walkways, and foundations. Not every concrete problem requires starting over. Often, targeted repairs or restoration techniques can add years or even decades to your existing concrete surfaces while making them look and function like new.
Problems We Fix
Here are the most common concrete issues we handle:
- •Cracks: Hairline cracks to wide structural cracks. We evaluate the cause, repair the damage, and prevent it from spreading.
- •Sunken or settled sections: When concrete slabs drop due to soil erosion or compaction, creating trip hazards and drainage problems.
- •Surface spalling and scaling: When the top layer of concrete flakes off due to freeze-thaw damage or poor finishing.
- •Discoloration and staining: Oil stains, rust, efflorescence, and faded colored concrete.
- •Deteriorating joints: Failed control joints and expansion joints that need replacement.
Some problems are cosmetic and some are structural. We'll evaluate your situation honestly and tell you whether repair makes sense or if replacement is the better long-term investment.
How We Repair Concrete
Crack repair depends on crack width and cause. Narrow cracks get filled with epoxy or polyurethane sealants that bond to both sides and prevent water infiltration. Wider structural cracks may require routing out, cleaning, and filling with specialized concrete repair compounds. We address the underlying cause to prevent recurrence.
Slab jacking or mudjacking raises sunken concrete by pumping material under the slab to lift it back to level. This works well for driveways, walkways, and patio slabs that have settled but are otherwise sound. It's much cheaper than replacement and eliminates dangerous trip hazards.
Resurfacing involves applying a thin layer of new concrete or specialized overlay over damaged surfaces. This covers spalling, staining, and surface damage while providing a fresh, smooth finish. We can match existing textures or create new decorative finishes.
Partial replacement makes sense when only one section is damaged. We saw cut and remove the problem area, prep properly, and pour new concrete that ties into the existing surface. This saves money while fixing the issue permanently.
Preventing Future Damage
After repairs, we recommend steps to protect your concrete going forward.Sealing protects against water infiltration, freeze-thaw damage, and staining. We recommend resealing every 2-3 years for maximum protection.Drainage improvements prevent water from pooling on or under concrete, addressing a common cause of settlement and deterioration.
Winter care matters in West Lafayette. Avoid using harsh deicing chemicals that damage concrete surfaces. Sand or calcium magnesium acetate are safer alternatives. Keep your concrete clean and maintain sealant to give it the best chance of lasting decades.
When Replacement Makes More Sense
We're honest about when repair isn't worth it. If concrete has extensive cracking, significant structural damage, or is nearing the end of its useful life, replacement is often the smarter investment. We'll never push repairs if replacement makes more financial and practical sense. Our goal is to give you the best value and longest-lasting solution, whether that's repair or replacement.
